This past March the Elmwood East Historic District was added to the National Register of Historic Places.  This listing recognizes the historical significance of the buildings located within the district, and that the structures are worthy of preservation.  HoganWillig’s Buffalo office, located at 155 Summer Street, is located within this newly recognized Historic District.

We’ve all heard stories time and time again from our friends and families about their cosigning mistakes. We may hear of a friend who cosigned on a loan for his girlfriend, they broke up, she stopped paying, and it destroyed his credit, or, maybe a parent stepped in as a cosigner for a child with no established credit for his first car and ended up making the payments.

One of the major discrepancies that come up is in how men and women view money—women tend to view money as a means of security, while men conversely view it as a source of power and status.
