“Since being admitted to practice in 2004, I have focused my practice almost exclusively on matrimonial and family law issues. Over the years, I have handled numerous cases in both Family Court and Supreme Court throughout several counties in Western New York, by assisting individuals to resolve issues through settlement, or when litigation is necessary, by preparing cases for judicial relief through trial. In addition to representing parties, I also represent children in contested custody and visitation proceedings as an active member of the Law Guardian Panels for Erie and Niagara Counties.
I welcome the opportunity to join the team at HoganWillig to continue assisting clients in resolving issues affecting some of the most important aspects of their lives, particularly during the stressful and emotional times when families are in transition.
I received my B.A. in Social Science with a concentration in Legal Studies in 2000 from the University at Buffalo, and my J.D. with concentration in Financial Transactions in 2003 for the University at Buffalo Law School. While at U.B. Law, I participated as a Publications Editor for the Buffalo Law Review. I was admitted to practice in all New York State Courts in 2004, and to the United States District Court for the Western District of New York in 2005. I am also admitted to practice in the District of Columbia since 2005, and Florida since 2008. I am an active member of the Matrimonial and Family Law Committee and the Practice & Procedures in Family Court Committee of the Bar Association of Erie County (BAEC), as well as the Family Law Sections of the New York State Bar Association (NYSBA) and the American Bar Association (ABA), and the Women’s Bar Association for the State of New York (WBASNY).”
