Professional Experience
Cheryl H. Bechakas has concentrated her practice in the areas of bankruptcy and real estate law since her admission to the New York State Bar in 1996.
Ms. Bechakas has focused upon the advancement of her clients' interests by providing assistance to individuals, creditors and financial institutions in areas of bankruptcy, insolvency matters, credit disputes, debt collection, foreclosure, asset sale and recovery, and financial restructuring. She has extensive experience in transactions that require litigation and appears in Supreme, County, Bankruptcy and Local Courts throughout Western New York in matters relative to bankruptcy, foreclosure and creditor's rights.
In addition to the above, Ms. Bechakas has assisted clients in all phases of real estate matters involving residential and commercial acquisition and sales, mortgage lending and title insurance.
Ms. Bechakas has also presented seminars on topics relative to consumer bankruptcy issues and was an adjunct professor at the State University of New York at Buffalo teaching classes in Consumer Law.
