Professional Experience
Ms. Farrar's practice includes corporate and business law, labor and employment law, civil litigation, and debt collection. She assists clients with the commercial transactions, including preparing and reviewing documents and contracts and litigates breaches arising out of such transactions. She also assists clients with forming business entities and museums, and applying for liquor licenses or seeking 501(3)(c) exemption status. Ms. Farrar also counsels individuals regarding employment issues and wrongful termination.As a member of HoganWillig's litigation team, Ms. Farrar works on civil cases ranging from civil rights violations to constitutional law issues. She is also well versed in both federal and state debt collection practices, and is responsible for implementing and enforcing specific procedures for the firm's Debt Collection Department based on the requirements of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. Ms. Farrar is also proactive in her efforts to counsel debtors regarding reorganizing their debts to avoid bankruptcy. She also counsels individuals with bankruptcy and financial issues.
