Matrimonial & Family Law Professional Experience
For 30 years, Nelson Zakia has limited his area of practice to 
family law. Throughout his legal career, his goal has been to maintain the highest level of integrity and professionalism while providing for his clients the very best counsel and professional service.
For fourteen consecutive years, Mr. Zakia has been honored to be named in the Best Lawyers in America. In 2007, he was selected as one of the Best Matrimonial Lawyers in Upstate New York and in addition, he was honored as one of the Top 50 Attorneys in the Buffalo Area. For more than 25 years, Mr. Zakia has had the privilege of lecturing and speaking to various legal and related groups throughout the State of New York on a multitude of issues related to Family Law. Throughout this period, he has spoken on behalf of the New York State Bar Association, the Erie County Bar Association, as well as The American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers.
