"I graduated with a Juris Doctor from State University of New York at Buffalo School of Law in 1991 after attaining an accounting degree (magna cum laude) from Niagara University in 1988.
HoganWillig offers a full-service real estate department that can assist consumers in all aspects of the real estate experience, such as buying or selling residential and commercial real estate, representing banks and credit unions for mortgage financing regarding purchases and refinances, sales of residences where employees are transferred for their employment and must sell their homes with the assistance of their employers, and title insurance.
As an attorney in the real estate department, I oversee the everyday operations of all aspects of our real estate practice including buy/sell, mortgage and relocation, as well as become more involved in transactions that require litigation or attention beyond the normal closing. I am also the principal title insurance attorney who examines title, prepares preliminary title reports, resolves title problems, and issues final title insurance policies through various title insurance agencies, in an effort to insure that our clients, whether they are purchasers or banks, are fully protected against adverse title claims that may arise as a consequence of their purchase or financing of a particular piece of real property."
In addition to the above, I assist other departments in the firm regarding bankruptcy matters, evictions and collections. I appear extensively in Supreme, County, City and Local Courts, including Small Claims Courts in various jurisdictions, relative to collection matters, civil motions, contract disputes, foreclosures and evictions.
