"I have been practicing family law and a matrimonial attorney since 1989 and I am a member of the WNY Collaborative Law Professionals, Ltd. I understand and appreciate the significant emotional and financial turmoil that people may experience during a break-up of their relationship and families. Over the course of my tenure as a matrimonial/family law practitioner, I have strived to assist my clients in resolving these highly sensitive and important matters in a way which minimizes anxiety and hopefully, enables them to move forward as positively as possible.
I am excited to be welcomed by the highly professional team of lawyers and staff here at HoganWillig, as I join in their belief that a team approach to working with clients provides a better way to service their needs effectively.
I received my B.S. in 1985 from LeMoyne College and my Juris Doctor in 1988 from SUNY at Buffalo. I was admitted to all New York State Courts in 1989 and to the U.S. District Court for the Western District of New York in 2001. In the past I have also served as a judicial hearing officer for the Buffalo City Court Small Claims Arbitration Program. I was recently certified in the areas of Mediation and Collaborative Law in 2005."
