"For 30 years, I have limited my area of practice to Family Law. Throughout my legal career, my goal has been to maintain the highest level of integrity and professionalism while providing for my clients the very best counsel and professional service.

In 1983, I was admitted as a Fellow in the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers (AAML). The American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers was founded in 1962 “to encourage the study, improve the practice, elevate the standards and advance the cause of matrimonial law, to the end that the welfare of the family and society be protected.” As a Fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, I have continually maintained the high standards required by that national organization.

For fourteen consecutive years, I have been honored to be named in the Best Lawyers in America. In 2007, I was selected as one of the Best Matrimonial Lawyers in Upstate New York and in addition, I was honored as one of the Top 50 Attorneys in the Buffalo Area.

For more than 25 years, I have had the privilege of lecturing and speaking to various legal and related groups throughout the State of New York on a multitude of issues related to Family Law. Throughout this period, I have spoken on behalf of the New York State Bar Association, the Erie County Bar Association, as well as The American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers.

From 1996 to 2002, I served on the Attorney Grievance Committee for the 8th Judicial District of the State of New York. I was designated by the Appellate Division 4th Department of the State of New York to serve as Chairman of that important committee from 2000 to 2002.  I also serving as Chairman of the Erie County Judiciary Committee.

I received my undergraduate degree from Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio. In 1973, I received my Juris Doctor Degree Cum Laude from the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Law and was admitted to the Bar of the State of New York in 1974."
